UAE weather forecast: hot, humid week ahead with some rain, haze

The onslaught of summer is going to continue in the UAE this week, with most days forecast to be hot during the day time and humid at night, according to the National Center of Meteorology on Monday (June 20).

The chance of rain in parts of the country will bring some respite on Monday afternoon, but the weather will be generally hot during daytime.

The temperature will reach a high of 49°C in internal areas, while humidity will peak at 90 percent in coastal areas and islands.

Monday, June 20

Hot during daytime and fair in general, with a probability of some convective clouds formation might be rainy Eastward and Southward by afternoon. Humid by night and Tuesday morning with a probability of mist formation over some Western coastal areas. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times during daytime, causing blowing dust over some internal areas. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Tuesday, June 21

Hot during daytime and partly cloudy becoming fair in general. Light to moderate Southeasterly, becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime over the internal areas, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Wednesday, June 22

Hot during daytime and fair to partly cloudy at times, and low clouds will appear Eastward by Thursday morning. Humid by night and Thursday morning with a probability of mist formation over some Western coastal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times during daytime over the internal areas, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate becoming rough by Thursday morning in Oman Sea.

Thursday, June 23

Hot during daytime and dusty and partly cloudy at times, and low clouds will appear Eastward might be convective by afternoon. Humid by night and Friday morning with a chance of fog or mist formation over some areas especially Westward. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times especially Eastward and Northward causing blowing dust and sand may reduce the horizontal visibility, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough at times in Oman Sea.

Friday, June 24

Hot during daytime and dusty and partly cloudy at times, and low clouds will appear over eastern coast by morning with a chance of rainy convective clouds formation Eastward and Southward. Temperature tends to decrease over the Western coastal areas. Humid by night and Saturday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times especially with clouds causing blowing dust and sand may reduce the horizontal visibility, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
