UAE: Sweihan Road reopens after vehicle crash

The Sweihan Road has been reopened for traffic following the cleanup of the accident area.

On Tuesday around 8am, a horrific crash between the truck and the car happened before Al Shamkha Bridge on Sweihan Road. Both vehicles caught fire after the crash, forcing the police to block the road while clearing operations were being carried out.

According to the Abu Dhabi Police, it took the authorities until Wednesday at 11am to fully extinguish the fire that burned the two vehicles.

No other injuries were reported after the incident. BKM/ Expat Media
