The United Arab Emirates reaffirmed its support for China and expressed concerns about how “provocative trips” would affect stability and world peace.
The UAE emphasized the significance of the “One-China” principle in a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in which it “affirmed its support for China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
China considers Taiwan to be a part of its sovereignty and has never renounced using force to control the island.
The UAE urged compliance to the UN resolutions and “indicated its concern over the impact of any provocative visits on balance, stability and international peace”.
To “ensure regional and international stability,” UAE encourages China to prioritize diplomacy and communication. BKM/ Expat Media
