Emirates Post postal photo competition: How to join

UAE postal operator Emirates Post has launched the Postal Portraits Photography Competition, inviting participants to capture the “essence of the UAE’s cultural heritage and way of life”.

The competition is open to all photography enthusiasts and runs until September 30, 2024 with one monthly winner to receive Dh2,500 plus curated giveaways.

Each month will have a theme for submissions:

October to December 2023: Capturing the architecture and building exteriors of Emirates Post
January to March 2024: Conveying your own story of the post in the UAE through pictures
April to June 2024: Moments of people around Emirates Post locations
July to September 2024: Expressing creative concepts that can be used for Emirates Post stamps and postcards.

Participants must submit high-resolution images for professional use, with a minimum of 3000 pixels in portrait or landscape layouts. All photos must be in a digital format, they must not have any watermarks on them and must not be over-edited. Each participant can submit up to three photos per month, either in color or in black and white. Photos must be added on a participant’s Instagram page with the tag #PostalPortraits.

Submissions start on the first day of every month and end of the last day of each month. Winners will be announced on Emirates Post social channels. ICA/Expat Media
