The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has cancelled the registration of two insurance brokers in the UAE.
The authority named the companies as Seagull Insurance Services Co. and Al Shorafa Insurance Services.
According to the Central Bank, the two companies failed to comply with regulations for insurance brokers in the country.
It added that insurance companies and professionals must comply with UAE laws and regulations to safeguard the transparency and integrity of the insurance industry and the UAE financial system. WAM/Expat Media
