Tatay Ko Yan: UAE awards for OFW dads selects 10 finalists

Ten finalists have been selected for the Tatay Ko Yan awards, the first of its kind award in the UAE to recognize exemplary Filipino fathers working in the country.

Speaking to Expatmedia.net, Tatay Ko Yan Founder Ronald Awa said the award is aimed at “honoring Filipino bread winners and super dads” who have set a good example to their family and community.

Awa said the ten finalists, all based in the UAE, will be revealed at the Kalayaan 2023 event at the Dubai World Trade Center on June 10.

The finalists will receive vouchers from FilBrit Training Centre Short Courses, Avenue Hotel, ASB Cargo, Viva One and Viva Films, as well as gift packs from 6Skins and gift hampers. Details here

Tatay Ko Yan is one of the highlights of the June 10 Kalayaan 2023 event at the Dubai World Trade Centre, which will also feature an indoor bazaar, games and contests.
