Rain continued in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah on Monday (May 22), as UAE residents woke up to cloudy skies and a rainy start of the week.
The National Centre of Meteorology forecast rainfall to continue over eastern, internal and western areas of the country, with generally partly cloudy weather on Monday. Some rainfall is also expected on Tuesday.

Partly cloudy and dusty at times with a chance of convective cloud formation associated with rainfall over some Eastern, internal, and Western areas. Light to moderate winds, and fresh to strong at times with clouds causing blowing dust and sand reducing the horizontal visibility. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea, becoming rough at times in cloud activity.
Fair to partly cloudy. Clouds will appear over some Southern and Eastern areas may be convective and rainy at times. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly wind, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and Slight to Moderate in Oman Sea.
