Rescuers airlift an injured South African in Al Ain's Sweihan desert.

A 27-year-old South African man was injured in a motorcycle accident in Al Ain City, according to the National Search and Rescue Centre (NSRC).
Rescuers said the man sustained multiple fractures after his motorcycle overturned in the Sweihan desert. He was airlifted to Tawam Hospital.

Hospitals in the UAE accept medical emergency cases for initial treatment and may refer the patient to a hospital better equipped to deal with any specialized treatment necessary.
