What to do in medical emergencies in UAE

If you have a medical emergency or accident in the UAE, you can call the emergency hotline 998. An air ambulance may be sent if needed.

Hospitals in the UAE accept medical emergency cases for initial treatment and may refer the patient to a hospital better equipped to deal with any specialized treatment necessary.

In case of emergency, treatment to stabilise the case is free, however, other treatment must be paid for by the patient or the insurance company. ICA/Expat Media
