Rhian Ramos flying home after being stranded at Dubai airport

Actress Rhian Ramos said she was “happy to be coming home” after being stranded at the Dubai International Airport on Friday (April 19).

“So happy to be coming home,” Rhian wrote on X, “So excited to shower too.”

Earlier on Friday, Rhian posted photos of what appeared to be her makeshift bed inside the airport, with a beige blanket and towels as pillows spread on the floor. She also posted a photo of the crowd at the connections desk and asked if anyone from Emirates airline could help her rebook her flight. Rhian did not disclose her travel plans.

On her Instagram Stories, the actress revealed that she had been sleeping on airport floors for two days. The Dubai International Airport has faced disruptions after heavy rain on April 16 sparked flooding that wreaked havoc across Dubai.

On Thursday, operator Dubai Airports said it was restricting access to Dubai International Access to passengers with confirmed flights, in response to the influx of people at the travel hub. Dubai Airports said the airport is expected to fully return to normal operations in 24 hours. ICA/Expat Media
