DUBAI – A 24-year-old Pakistani man died after he was stabbed dead by his compatriot in Dubai’s Satwa area.
The incident happened in November. Police have arrested the Pakistani suspect, who used a small knife to stab the victim after the latter allegedly insulted him in his home.
The Pakistani culprit is now on trial at the Dubai Court of First Instance on the charge of premeditated murder.
According to records, the victim had travelled to Umm Al Quwain after being stabbed. He died from his injuries in his room. His roommate called police after finding him dead.
A forensic report showed that the victim died of internal bleeding in the intestine.
