DUBAI – The UAE recorded 1,002 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday (September 24) after it conducted 93,918 more Covid-19 tests.
This is the second day in a row that the UAE’s daily number of Covid-19 cases breached 1,000. On Wednesday, the country hit an all-time high of 1,083 new cases in 24 hours.
The country also reported that 942 more people have recovered from coronavirus in 24 hours. One more person died of Covid-19 in the UAE, raising the death toll to 407.
The UAE now has a total of 88,532 cases of coronavirus since the outbreak was recorded in January.
