DUBAI – The UAE recorded a high of 1,083 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours on Wednesday (September 24) as 103,199 more coronavirus tests were conducted.
The new number is the highest daily figure for Covid-19 cases recorded by the UAE since the outbreak of coronavirus.
According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention, a further 970 people have recovered from coronavirus in 24 hours. The death toll rose to 406.
There are currently 10,169 active cases of coronavirus in the UAE. Since January, the UAE has recorded 87,539 Covid-19 cases, out of which 76,997 patients have recovered. ICA/Expat Media
