Visitors to the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi will have to undergo a new pre-registration process ahead of their visit.

This came as the Middle East’s first hand-carved stone temple saw a heavy footfall of visitors due to the Eid Al Fitr holidays.

According to a temple spokesperson, the new booking process aims to ensure a more organised and enjoyable experience for visitors.

Visitors must register via mandir.ae/book-visit and select their preferred date and time of visit. The temple is open from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 9am to 8pm. It is closed on Mondays. The temple is located along P6 Al Taf Road in Abu Mureikha, Abu Dhabi. ICA/Expat Media
