A gang of four Asian men has been sentenced to jail in Dubai for setting fire to two vehicles over a bootlegging dispute with Africans.

The Dubai Criminal Court also ordered that the group be deported after serving their six-month jail term.

The case dates back to March last year when an African man reported to police that his vehicle and a bus have caught fire in Jebel Ali Industrial area.

Investigators were able to identify and arrest the suspects, one of whom admitted that they sold liquor without a licence and that they set fire to two vehicles over a dispute with the Africans on where they conducted their illegal activity. ICA/Expat Media
