Watch: World’s deepest pool is newest Dubai attraction

DUBAI – A record-breaking attraction has recently opened in Dubai to allow thrill seekers to explore a 60-metre sunken city.

Deep Dive Dubai, located in Nad Al Sheba 1, is themed to resemble an abandoned underwater city. The diving facility is four times bigger than any diving pool in the world. Watch the video:

The pool is equipped with 56 cameras to ensure safety of the divers. State-of-the-art lighting and sound systems create a variety of underwater moods.

This extraordinary indoor pool is filled with 14 million liters of freshwater, the equivalent of six Olympic-sized swimming pools.

Water is kept at 30 degrees to create the perfect conditions for diving – and there’s no need to wear thick wetsuits.

Through large windows or on the screens all over the facility, visitors can watch family and friends as they dive. There’s also a restaurant on site, as well as a dive shop and gift shop.
