US: Elon Musk hints at new social media to compete with Twitter

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, hinted at his own social media platform to compete with Twitter amid his ongoing legal battle against the social media giant.

Musk tweeted a cryptic message in response to an inquiry from one of his followers that made reference to a potential new social media site called “X.com.”

A social media user questioned the billionaire tech entrepreneur whether he had considered developing his own social network.

Musk, who uses Twitter frequently, saw the query and simply wrote “X.com” in response.

X.com was the name of a startup that Musk launched twenty years ago which was eventually merged with PayPal, a financial services company. BKM/ Expat Media
