Germany: 31 injured after rollercoaster crash at Legoland

At a theme park in southern Germany, two rollercoaster trains collided, injuring more than 30 people with one in critical condition.

The German news agency DPA said that a rollercoaster train at the Legoland park in Gunzburg abruptly braked, colliding with another train.

31 individuals were injured, and three helicopters were dispatched to the location along with fire and rescue personnel. It was not immediately clear how the crash happened.

A criminal investigation has been launched.

According to a spokeswoman, the event incident took place on the Fire Dragon ride. BKM/ Expat Media
