UAE weather forecast: Hotter days, humid nights this week

The UAE will experience hotter daytime temperatures as well as humid nights this week, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

On Monday (May 20), humidity levels will peak at 90 percent in coastal areas and islands, with the temperature to hit a maximum of 43°C in internal areas.

According to the weather bureau, the weather will remain fair in general and partly cloudy at times. Here’s the full weather forecast:

Monday, May 20

Fair in general and partly cloudy at times, with a slight increase in temperatures. Humid by night and Tuesday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of fog or mist formation. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times. The sea will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Tuesday, May 21

Fair in general and partly cloudy at times. Humid by night and Wednesday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of mist formation. Light to moderate Northwesterly becoming Southeasterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Wednesday, May 22

Fair in general and partly cloudy at times, with a gradual increase in temperatures. Humid by night and Thursday morning over some coastal areas. Light to moderate Northwesterly becoming Southeasterly winds, with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 30 km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Thursday, May 23

Fair in general and partly cloudy at times. Light to moderate Northwesterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Friday, May 24

Fair in general and partly cloudy at times, with a decrease in temperatures. Light to moderate Northwesterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate and rough at times especially Northward in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
