Motorists rushing home for iftar may encounter accidents

The Abu Dhabi Police have advised motorists not to speed up and to follow traffic regulations when driving home before iftar to end their fast.

Many motorists are known for rushing home before iftar, causing road accidents leading to injuries or deaths.

In a social media post on Thursday (March 23), the police asked motorists to follow speed limits, give pedestrians priority, and not jump the red lights. People were strongly warned about breaking traffic regulations.
