DUBAI – More than two million people will be tested for coronavirus in the UAE in July and August, according to the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) on Tuesday (July 7).
The ministry said that in the last 24 hours alone, more than 44,000 coronavirus tests have been carried out across the country.
In July and August, coronavirus tests will target workers in the services and government sectors, which will cover hotel and mall employees.
Taxi drivers and public transport drivers and government employees will also be tested.
