UAE sets Dh1,250 fee for 6-month entry permit to complete Golden Visa application

UAE Golden Visa applicants will have to pay Dh1,250 to get a 6-month entry permit so they can enter the UAE and complete the application procedures to get the 10-year visa.

According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP), the fee include Dh1,000 as issuance fee, Dh100 as application fee, Dh100 as smart services fee, Dh28 as electronic services fee and Dh22 as ICP fee.

For rejected applications, only the issuance fee and financial guarantee, if any, will be refunded via credit card within six months from the date of the submission of the application.

Foreigners in the country and abroad who want a UAE Golden Visa should check their eligibility at http://smartservices.icp.gov.ae and follow the steps to apply.

People who can apply for the golden visa include “brilliant talents, scholars and specialists, investors in public investments, investors in real estate, entrepreneurs, outstanding high school and college graduates, and frontline workers,” according to ICA.
