Trailer camping now allowed in Dubai’s Jebel Ali beach

DUBAI – Own a trailer? You can now camp for free on the beach in Jebel Ali for up to 30 days, according to the Dubai Municipality.

Trailer owners can also book free stays at Al Sufouh Beach as part of Dubai’s scheme for caravan camping.

A permit must be obtained online through the Dubai Municipality website. Applicants need to show a copy of trailer ownership, Emirates ID and passport copy.

“Once the applicant enters the data and documents online, the permit is issued immediately. It allows the holder to camp in the specified location for 30 days,” according to Dubai Municipality.
