DUBAI – A teenager has been arrested in Sharjah for stealing three cars parked in Ajman’s Al Nuaimia area, according to police.
The Ajman Police said the 19-year-old Asian suspect, M.K. confessed to stealing the cars.
The stolen vehicles have been returned to their owners.
Lt-Col. Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department of Ajman Police, said police conducted an investigation after receiving complaints from the car owners.
“During a search to nab culprits, the police managed to identify a suspect, M.K, residing in Sharjah,” Al Nuaimi said.
M.K. was arrested by operatives at his Sharjah residence. His case has been referred to the public prosecution.
