Tapa King opens casual dining outlet in Dubai’s Al Rigga

Tapa King opened its first casual dining restaurant in Dubai’s bustling Al Rigga area on Thursday (February 9).

The restaurant, located at Landmark Hotel Al Rigga, is also Tapa King’s fifth outlet in the UAE. Tapa King serves classic Filipino dishes.

“We have a new look and feel for this Tapa King restaurant because we wanted people to feel that they are home away from home,” Melodina Isaguirre, COO of Tapa King, told Expatmedia.net.

Tapa King’s modern and spacious interior complements the classic Filipino fare skillfully prepared by its culinary team. Isaguirre said the Tapa King restaurant in Al Rigga serves their classic menu, as well as grilled food items and Filipino dishes “you won’t see in other branches”: chicken inasal (roasted chicken), herb chicken with lemon grass and caldereta, among others.

The restaurant is also the first Tapa King outlet in the UAE with function rooms. It has two function rooms that can accommodate a party of 35, or a bigger hall for up to 90 people.

Tapa King has 42 branches in the Philippines, Singapore and the UAE where it has an outlet in Abu Dhabi’s Al Wahda Mall, and three outlets in Dubai: Ibn Battuta Mall, BurJuman and Al Ghurair Centre. ICA/Expat Media
