Sharjah expat wins Dh30 million in Big ticket

An Indian expatriate in Sharjah is now Dh30 million richer after winning the grand prize in Big Ticket, the Abu Dhabi-based raffle draw.

Kathar Hussain became the biggest grand prize winner in Big Ticket history during the Series 246 live draw on Saturday (December 3).

Hussain bought winning ticket number 206975 on November 6. Big Ticket was not able to reach him on his mobile phone during the live telephone call to let him know about his life-changing win. Big Ticket representatives said it will continue to reach out until they are able to contact him.

UPDATE: Meet Big Ticket’s Dh30 million winner 

Meanwhile, another Indian national became a millionaire after winning the second prize of Dh1 million. The lucky winner is Thomas Ollukkaran.

On January 3, one lucky winner will take home Dh35 million with Big Ticket. In addition to the grand prize, a second prize amount of Dh1 million will be announced and three lucky winners will take home Dh100,000 each. Tickets can be bought via bigticket.ae. ICA/Expat Media
