The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will hold its 112th open auction, featuring 90 premium plates with 2, 3, 4, and 5 digits on Saturday (March 18).
Super Plates such as AA 20, AA 15, and R 76 are part of the collection.
The plates offer the following codes: AA-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z.
On March 18 at 4:30pm, the auction will be at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel. The registration period for bids began on March 13 (Monday).
Bidders can register for the auction via the Dubai Drive app, the RTA website, or any RTA Customers Happiness Centers in Umm Al Ramool, Deira, or Al Barsha.
Priority will be given to bidders due to the limited number of seats. However, registration will also be available from 2pm in the bidding hall.
Every bidder must have a traffic file in Dubai and deposit a security check for Dh25,000 made out to the RTA. Taxes up to 5 percent VAT are applied to selling license plates.
Bidders must also pay a Dh120 non-refundable auction charge at the Customers Happiness Centers. Online payment options include using a credit card or the Dubai Driving app. KD/Expat Media
