ABU DHABI – The Abu Dhabi Police on Monday (November 23) shared a video footage of a reckless jaywalker who crossed a busy highway in the capital.
Police warned about the dangers of jaywalking after releasing footage of a man crossing the four-lane highway, only to come close to being hit by a car on the other side of the road.
It is not clear if the jaywalker was hurt in the incident. Watch the video

Under the UAE traffic law, pedestrians crossing at undesignated areas will be fined Dh400. In the first half of 2020, the Abu Dhabi Police has issued 15,000 fines to violators. DIA/Expat Media
