The Department of Foreign Affairs Office of Consular Affairs has started accepting ePhilIDs as accredited government-issued valid IDs for passport applications.
The public is reminded that the details in the printed ePhilID must be legible, readable, and have the same details as the submitted documented criteria during the passport application to support its usage as a genuine ID approved for passport application.
The department said the public can learn more about the PhilSys ID (National ID) digitized form by visiting https://www.philsys.gov.ph/public-advisory-10/.
