DUBAI – Dubai has begun a free vaccination using a Covd-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech. Here’s all you need to know.
Dubai visa holders will be able to get the vaccine, and will initially be available to frontliners, senior citizens aged 60 or older, and people with chronic disease or special needs.
People younger than 18 will not be given the vaccine.
The Dubai Health Authority is expected to announce the next phase of vaccination soon, opening it to other members of the public.
Currently, it is being administered free of cost.
It is available at six health centres: Al Mizhar Primary Health Care Centre, Barsha Primary Health Care Centre, Nad Al Hamr Primary Health Care Centre, Hatta Hospital, Uptown Mirdif Medical Fitness Centre and Zabeel Primary Health Care Centre

Among other questions, you will be asked about your age, existing health conditions and whether you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant or breastfeeding.
