ABU DHABI – A 1.2km jogging track was unveiled at Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi to help residents enjoy a stroll or jog through the park.
The track starts at the promenade and ends at the amphitheater of one of Abu Dhabi’s oldest and largest parks.
Joggers will be able to enjoy views of lawns and palm trees as they pass through the track, which also has distance markers for athletes who want to train at the park.
“We look forward to seeing the jogging track act as a scenic green space for runners and joggers to work their bodies while they relax their minds,” ssaid Rasha Kablawi, head of Umm Al Emarat Park’s corporate affairs and communications department.
The Umm Al Emarat Park is open at limited capacity as part of the easing of coronavirus restrictions in the emirate. Events have also resumed, including Animal Barn, Water Splash and Cinema in the Park.
