Motorists to pay Abu Dhabi Darb toll during Ramadan


DUBAI – Motorists passing through Darb toll gates in Abu Dhabi will need to pay fees during Ramadan peak hours, authorities said.

According to the Department of Municipalities and Transport, road tolls apply during Ramadan from Saturday to Thursday, 8am to 10am and 2pm to 4pm.

The toll fee is set at Dh4 during peak hours. There will be no toll fees on Fridays.

The Darb tolls came into effect on January 2.

Paid parking in Abu Dhabi

Paid parking hours during Ramadan have also been amended. Paid parking will be activated from 9am until 2pm, and from 9pm until 2:30am during the holy month.
