DUBAI – Who would have thought traveling through Abu Dhabi International Airport could fetch you Dh1 million?
This is exactly what happened to Afsal Chemban who won the airport’s million dirham grand prize without even buying a ticket!
The Feel Good, Fly AUH raffle draw was free for passengers who travelled through AUH between June and August. The outcome of the draw was recently announced to the media.
“I did not expect to win the grand prize, especially knowing that hundreds of thousands of other passengers would also be participating. I never thought that traveling through Abu Dhabi International Airport would change my life like this, and I am incredibly grateful,” Chemban said.
Chemban received his cheque from Bryan Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports.
“We are proud to take a part in changing the life of one of our passengers with the awarding of our Dh1 million prize, and we would like to thank Chemban for traveling through Abu Dhabi International Airport,” Thompson said. ICA/Expat Media
