Filipinos in the UAE are celebrating the 125th anniversary of Philippine independence with a full-day event on Saturday (June 10).
Philippine Independence Day is celebrated worldwide on June 12, but in Dubai, Kalayaan 2023 organiser Emirates Loves Philippines and presenter Infinite Communities Events have prepared a day-long celebration at the Dubai World Trade Centre on June 10. The Kalayaan 2023 runs from 8am to 8pm at Saeed Hall 1.
“This year’s theme is ‘Celebrating Talent, Unity & Diversity’, and we are excited to see Filipinos in the UAE uniting in celebration of everything that makes us great as a people,” Josie Conlu, Project Manager of The Love Company, parent company of Emirates Loves Philippines, told Expatmedia.net.
“Visitors will experience world class performances. This is the biggest, the grandest and the most anticipated community event of the year,” said Elena Cruz, founder of Infinite Communities.
