Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit UAE

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the UAE on June 28, according to India’s Ministry of External Affairs on Wednesday (June 22).

Modi will travel to the UAE from Germany where he will be attending the G7 summit from June 26 to 28.

In the UAE, Modi will pay his personal condolences on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to the ministry. Modi is expected to leave the UAE on the same night.

“The PM will also take the opportunity to congratulate Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his election as the new President of UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi,” according to the ministry.
