DUBAI – The Gov Games will return for its third season in December and will also be open to expatriates and Emiratis not in the government sector, the organizing committee announced on Tuesday (September 14).
Gov Games, the first-of-its-kind challenge for government employees, will run from December 9 to 11 in Dubai Design District.
The competition aims to “enhance teamwork, strengthen bonding and positively impact the wellbeing of participants”.
The third edition of Gov Games features a new category for the community, which now allows Emiratis and residents in the UAE to take part in the challenge alongside government entities.
“The new category was introduced in response to an overwhelming demand from members of the community, who attended previous cycles of Gov Games,” said Marwan bin Essa, Director of Gov Games.
Registration is now open for participants from government entities as well as other members of the public. The registration will remain open until October 30 on www.govgames.ae. ICA/Expat Media
