Sixteen-year-old Filipino-American Anatalia Villaranda

CALIFORNIA – Sixteen-year-old Filipino-American Anatalia Villaranda passed the blind audition segment of the reality singing competition “The Voice”.
Because of her powerful rendition of Bruno Mars’ “Runaway Baby”, all four coaches of “The Voice” – Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton – turned their chairs for her.
Villaranda and her family reside in Temecula, California.
Anatalia’s mother is from Bacolod City in the central Philippine province of Negros Occidental while her father is from Manila.
After the four coaches gave their comments about her performance, Villaranda chose to join Keys’ team.
In a tweet, Villaranda thanked her friends for their support.
