Global Village will remain closed on Thursday (January 26) after rain continued to pound Dubai and other parts of the UAE.
The family destination closed due to adverse weather conditions on Wednesday evening, and also postponed the concert of Egyptian singer Mahmoud El Esseily.
The UAE was forecast to have rainfall of varying intensities from Monday until Friday, with the weather expected to clear on Saturday.
In Dubai on Wednesday, heavy downpour caused waterlogged streets, while in Ras Al Khaimah, authorities announced that public schools would switch to remote learning until Monday. ICA/Expat Media
