Dubai Police issues weather warning, cautions residents to stay away from beaches

Dubai residents woke up to a weather warning on their mobile phones on Monday (February 12) as rain pummeled parts of the city overnight.

The Dubai Police sent out a weather alert, warning of “fluctuations in weather conditions”, and urged residents to stay away from beaches and avoid valleys, torrent flows and low-lying places that are prone to flooding.

Motorists were also cautioned to follow traffic rules and instructions of competent authorities. Read the 5-day weather forecast here
