Dubai: Pay Dh20 for 24-hour paid parking in 5 residential areas starting July

Dubai to roll out 24-hour paid parking in 5 residential areas

Dubai will add more paid parking spaces and impose 24-hour paid parking in five key residential areas starting in July, according to Parkin Company.

Zone B Parking with 24-hour paid parking will be rolled out in Arjaan, DLRC, Majan, Liwan 1 and 2 and Al Sufouh Gardens, with parking fees starting at Dh3 per hour and Dh20 for 24 hours. Parking is free on Sundays.

More Zone A Parking will also be allocated in Arjaan, Jaddaf Waterfront and Al Sufouh Gardens starting with Dh2 for 30 minutes, up to Dh16 for 4 hours. This paid parking area will be operational from 8am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday.

The paid parking service will be managed by Parkin Company, which secured a deal to operate and manage over 7,000 parking spaces across Dubai.

Under the four-year agreement, Parkin will oversee the operation, management, and enforcement of the parking spaces totaling 7,456. Parkin also has exclusive rights to issue fines for violators. ICA/Expat Media
