DUBAI – The Jebel Ali theme park Dubai Parks and Resorts will remain closed throughout the summer and will reopen on September 23 with a dozen new rides in store for 2020, its operator said.
The leisure destination has been closed since March as part of precautionary measures against the coronavirus pandemic.
Mohammed Almulla, Managing Director and CEO of DXB Entertainment, said that the operator will use the summer period to complete maintenance works.
Almulla said the park will feature 12 new rides, with eight to be ready by the third quarter of the year and the remaining four in the last quarter.
He said work will “focus on the enhancement programme for Motiongate Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai.” ICA/Expat Media
