Dubai: Asian woman fined Dh5,000 for drug use

A 22-year-old Asian woman was fined Dh5,000 by the Dubai court after being found guilty of using psychotropic substances.

The police record shows that the Dubai Police Anti-Narcotics Department received a report about a woman possessing some drugs. She was arrested and also found under the influence of it.

The woman admitted the crime in the Public Prosecution but denied it before the court. However, the court found her guilty and ruled a fine of Dh5,000. RZSP/Expat Media
