DUBAI – A sprawling villa in Dubai Hills sold for Dh75 million, becoming the most expensive villa ever sold in Dubai, according to data from Dubai Land Department.
The villa spans 42,543 square feet in Dubai Hills, a new ultra-luxury residential area located within Mohammed bin Rashid City.
There were no further details about the buyer of the villa.
The second most expensive villa to be sold in Dubai this year is an Emirates Hills villa that sold for Dh69 million.
Half of the most expensive properties sold so far this year were in Dubai Hills and District One, according to real estate firm Luxhabitat Sotheby.
The brokerage said demand for prime townhouses and villas with outdoor spaces and swimming pools also increased.
