Covid-19 in UAE: 3 deaths, 1,312 new cases, 1,500 recoveries in 24 hours


DUBAI – The Ministry of Health and Prevention announced on Thursday (October 29) that 1,312 more people tested positive for Covid-19 while three others died in 24 hours.

According to MOHAP, the deaths were due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 488.

The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished Covid-19 patients a speedy and full recovery.

According to the ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, who are in stable condition, and are receiving necessary care.

The ministry called on the public to “cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all”.

Meanwhile, some 1,500 people have recovered from Covid-19 in the UAE, bringing the total number of recoveries to 126,147.
The numbers came after authorities conducted 130,573 additional Covi-19 tests over the past 24 hours.
