DUBAI – A car caught fire after crashing into an electric pole in Ras Al Khaimah on Thursday (December 5), according to police.
The driver was speeding when he lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road and crashed into a power pole before the bridge on Ras Al Khaimah Ring Road.
The driver escaped with minor injuries before the car caught fire. No one else was injured in the crash, according to the Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence.
Firefighters had cordoned off the area as they battled to stop the flames from spreading to nearby cars.
