The Burj Khalifa will light up in the colours of the Philippine flag on Monday (June 12) in celebration of Philippine Independence Day.
This is the 125th Independence Day celebration of the Philippines, which has more than 700,000 nationals living and working in the UAE.
The Philippine flag will be projected onto the Burj Khalifa at 7:50pm. The display is expected to take over the world’s tallest tower for more than a minute.
It will also be the 5th year since the Philippine flag was first projected on the façade of the Burj Khalifa to mark Philippine Independence Day. ICA/Expat Media
