DUBAI – The Arab Fashion Week has been postponed as Dubai on Wednesday (March 24) began a 10-day mourning period for the death of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance.
The fashion show was due to start on Wednesday. It will now run from March 28 until April 1. It will continue to be a digital event.
A film starring former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, which was supposed to open the event on Wednesday, will now be streamed at 8pm on March 28.
The fashion show will feature the work of Michael Cinco, Amato, Euphoria Aava, Maliche and this season’s special guest, Antono Grimaldi.
