DUBAI – Al Hayer Oasis, a sprawling 25,500sqm park, has opened in Al Ain to allow visitors an enjoyable stroll through the outdoors.
The new, family friendly park has more than 2,000 square metres of walkways. It is located in the northern area of Al Ain City.
Built at a cost of Dh1.7 million, the park is aimed at promoting family time. There are plenty of seating areas. A number of food kiosks can also be found at the park.
The Al Hayer Oasis is part of a strategy to make optimal use of outdoor space to create spots for families to gather, said Mohammad Al Muhairi, director of parks and recreation department at Al Hayer Municipality Centre. ICA/Expat Media
