Rain in Al Ain as more showers forecast in UAE
A rainy afternoon hit parts of Al Ain on Wednesday (August 16) as the weather bureau forecast rainfall to continue in parts of the country on Thursday afternoon.
Moderate rainfall fell on Al Ain on Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Watch the video:

The weather bureau also issued a reminder to motorists to avoid driving during unstable weather conditions, and to turn on low-beam headlights when visibility is reduced. “Follow weather forecasts and be ready to comply with instructions issued by authorities,” NCM added.

Fair to partly cloudy and low clouds will appear over the eastern coast by morning with a chance of some convective cloud formation eastward by afternoon. Humid by night and Saturday morning over some northern areas with a probability of mist formation. Light to moderate Southeasterly, becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Fair to partly cloudy and low clouds will appear over the eastern coast by morning with a chance of some convective cloud formation eastward and southward by afternoon, with a probability of rainfall.
