DUBAI – Three Dubai roads will be closed for four hours on Friday morning (November 20) for the first Dubai Ride cycling event.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Sheikh Zayed Road, Lower Financial Centre Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard will be closed from 4am to 8am.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes during the road closures to make way for cyclists participating in the inaugural ride.
During the Dubai Ride, participants will be able to cycle on Sheikh Zayed Road for the first time. The Dubai Ride features a 4km family-friendly fun ride and a 14km professional ride.
