A car smashed into a pillar at the entrance of the Abu Dhabi hospital, killing two people and badly injuring one on Wednesday morning.
According to preliminary findings, the driver lost control of the vehicle before crashing into the structure outside Cleveland Clinic.
The force said police, ambulances, rescue teams, and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority were called to the scene.
The officers expressed their condolences to the relatives of the deceased and wished the injured party a speedy recovery.
